This study is aimed at recognizing the partial method and its role in the developing of reading skill for first- grade students, from the teachers' point of view. - The researcher followed the analytical descriptive approach, using the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data, representing the study population in the teachers of the first grade in basic education at Khartoum locality- Jabra unit, and a random sample of 50 teachers has been selected. - The study found the following conclusions: Studying letters and word syntax enable good reading and the method is attractive to students.
