The study dealt with the provisions of marriage with the intention of divorce and its relationship to Sharia purposes, mutah marriage as a model. The problem of the study was the spread of marriage with the intention of divorce with the absence of definitive evidence that it is forbidden, and the absence of independent books or independent research on this subject and the existence of some fatwas in authorizing this contract while violating some of the purposes of Sharia in marriage. The importance of the study sends from the relationship of the subject to reality and the correlation of the subject with what Allah has made the human reproductive machine and its survival on the face of the earth, and the correlation of the subject with the science of the purposes of Sharia which is one of the most important and longest sciences. The study aimed at identifying what marriage is with the intention of divorce, its forms and ruling, and explaining the purposes of Sharia in marriage. The study followed the inductive and analytical approach, the study reached important results, including that marriage with the intention of divorce is complementary to the pillars and conditions, and that it is similar to the pleasure marriage, and that it violates many of the purposes of Sharia in marriage, and that the intention and intent are considered in contracts, as the study recommended searching for the purposes of Sharia in Marriage and its application to the newly created contracts
