ÑANDUTI : HISTÓRIA E LENDAS DE UMA PRÁTICA CULTURAL DO POVO PARAGUAIO.

This article focuses on the Ñanduti lace, a manifestation of ancestral handicrafts produced by Paraguayan women. The objective was to analyze the origin of the lace and its association with the legends of the Guarani people. The relevance of the study is given by the uniqueness of this craft. The theoretical framework involved the category of analysis of technical organization of artisanal work, based on a study developed by Alves. The collection of information explored primary sources such as photographic records, documents and semi-structured interviews with artisans from Bella Vista Norte. Among the secondary sources, studies on cultural practices by Bayard and Chaves were fundamental. On the Ñanduti lace, secondary sources were limited to studies by Plá and Gonzáles, Roquete Pinto, Sanjurjo. As for the origin of the lace, the research allowed us to conclude that it is linked to the arrival of Spanish colonists in the New World. Since then, it has become part of the legends that permeate the culture in Paraguay. The process of income arrival in the country, its development and transformations, especially in the post-war period of the Triple Alliance, and its celebration as Paraguay's intangible heritage were analyzed.Este artigo tem por objeto a renda Ñanduti, manifestação do artesanato ancestral produzido por mulheres paraguaias. O objetivo foi analisar a origem da renda e sua associação às lendas do povo guarani. A relevância do estudo se dá pela singularidade desse artesanato. O referencial teórico envolveu a categoria de análise organização técnica do trabalho artesanal, a partir de estudo desenvolvido por Alves. O levantamento de informações explorou fontes primárias como registros fotográficos, documentos e entrevistas semiestruturadas com artesãs de Bella Vista Norte. Dentre as fontes secundárias, foram fundamentais os estudos sobre práticas culturais de Bayard e de Chaves. Sobre a renda Ñanduti as fontes secundárias se cingiram aos estudos de Plá e Gonzáles, Roquete Pinto, Sanjurjo. Quanto à origem da renda, a pesquisa permitiu concluir que está ligada à chegada dos colonizadores espanhóis ao Novo Mundo. Desde então, passou a fazer parte das lendas que permeiam a cultura no Paraguai. Foram analisados o processo de chegada da renda ao país, seu desenvolvimento e transformações, em especial no pós-guerra da Tríplice Aliança, e sua celebração como patrimônio imaterial do Paraguai
