Objective: To explore the current status of gerodontology in the undergraduate dental curriculum. Background: Internationally, there is recognition for the need to include gerodontology in dental education due to accelerating numbers of older dentate people. There is wide variation in the content and method of delivery of gerodontology in undergraduate curricula of dental schools. Methods: A scoping review framework was chosen to identify existing gaps and key concepts in the research on current undergraduate gerodontology education.
