The many benefits of public transportation have been widely discussed and analyzed in both academic literature and popular media. This research assembled data and information and estimated numerous quantifiable benefits of transit service to New Jersey residents, businesses, and communities. The research offers important insights, information and data regarding the benefits that NJ TRANSIT services provide to the State of New Jersey. The study proposes a series of storylines and delivers a series of infographics that can be used by NJ TRANSIT and other transportation stakeholders to implement a marketing campaign that communicates the benefits of public transportation to a range of audiences.133
