Subsidized housing units were scored using a metric called the Transit Opportunity Index which factors in proximity of transit service, the frequency of the nearby service, and the travel time to desirable destinations using the transit network. The results of this work will be shared with local affordable housing advocates to inform policymakers and promote the use of accessibility measures in funding decisions.131
