Exportaciones Mineras y su Repercusión en el Crecimiento Económico del Perú: Periodo 2010-2020

PIB indicates the economic growth of a country, i.e., the increase in its production capacity from one year to the next. Peru's PIB and exports experienced a growth of 43% and 39% respectively during the period 2010 - 2019. However, due to the 2020 pandemic that led to the suspension of activities between April and May, exports and PIB declined by 13% and 11% respectively. Through econometric analysis and statistical tests, it was possible to show that mining exports have a significant impact on Peru's economic growth. The main destination of exports is: China 40%, Switzerland 8%, Canada 7%, and others such as: India, South Korea, etc. which represent 47% of the total. Therefore, if there is a trade war between China and the U.S., exports will suffer a drop internationally. During the period from 2010 to 2020 mining prices have varied relatively, the price of copper and lead had a drop of 18% and 15% respectively; however, the price of zinc, silver and gold increased by 6%, 2% and 45% respectively.El PBI nos indica el crecimiento económico de un país, es decir, el incremento de su capacidad de producción de un año a otro. El PBI y las exportaciones del Perú experimentaron un crecimiento de 43% y 39% respectivamente durante el periodo de 2010 – 2019. Sin embargo, debido a la pandemia del 2020 que conllevó a la suspensión de actividades entre abril y mayo, las exportaciones y el PBI se redujeron en 13% y 11% respectivamente. Mediante los análisis y pruebas estadísticos de econometría se pudo evidenciar que las exportaciones mineras repercutan significativamente en el crecimiento económico del Perú. El destino principal de las exportaciones es: China 40%, Suiza 8%, Canadá 7%, y otros como: India, Corea del Sur, etc. que representan el 47% del total. Por ende, si hay una guerra comercial entre China y EE.UU, las exportaciones sufrirán una caída a nivel internacional. Durante el periodo del 2010 a 2020 los precios de las mineras han variado relativamente, el precio del cobre y del plomo tuvieron una baja de 18% y 15% respectivamente; sin embargo, el precio del zinc, plata y oro se incrementaron en 6%, 2% 45% respectivamente
