National audienceOur research aims at studying relations between the evolution of students' performances between the beginning and the end of a teaching sequence and the activity of teaching, in 10th grade classes, for the "mechanics'" part. In a socioconstructivist perspective we make the hypothesis that to give the possibility of learning a notion in a class this notion must be taught, must involve verbal interactions and the mediation of adults is necessary. We consider that taught knowledge is specific of a particular class as much as it is co-worked out by the teacher and the students.
