HUBUNGAN USIA, PARITAS DAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KEJADIAN POSTPARTUM BLUES PADA IBU NIFAS

The results of a preliminary study conducted by researchers in the Bringin Public Health Center area, there were 8 (66.6%) postpartum mothers who explained the signs of postpartum blues and 4 (33.3%) other postpartum mothers did not. From the results of interviews, postpartum blues cases were due to the new role of being a mother and the lack of support from the family. Postpartum blues if left untreated will develop into postpartum depression or postpartum psychologyThe purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age, parity and family support with the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers. The study used quantitative, analytical survey research methods with a cross sectional design. The research sample was 71 using a sampling technique, namely Stratified Random Sampling, with each strata using simple random sampling. The research was conducted in the working area of the Bringin Public Health Center.The results of the study of the relationship between age and the incidence of postpartum blues obtained a p value of 0.688 which means that there is no significant relationship between age and the incidence of postpartum blues. From the relationship between family support and the incidence of postpartum blues, a p value of 0.000 means that there is a significant relationship between family support and the incidence of postpartum blues and the Spearman rank correlation value of 0.518 explains a positive correlation with moderate strength, RP 10 times family support is a risk factor for the incidence of postpartum blues. to postpartum mothersEfforts can be made to prevent postpartum blues by screening postpartum mothers, providing health education about psychological changes and preparing for role changes during the postpartum period to mothers and families
