Investment opportunities of the population of the Czech Republic and their use to ensure old age

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the influence of various demographic factors on the choice of specific investment opportunities that the inhabitants of the Czech Republic have to secure their retirement age. The literary research evaluates the demographic development and the related unsustainability of the current pension system. Furthermore, the main options that the inhabitants of the Czech Republic have for creating a reserve for their retirement age. In the application part are evaluated the effects of various demographic factors on the amount and method of creating a reserve for their retirement age using the contingency tables, graphs and statistical methods of correlation, regression, analysis of variance and chi-square test. Furthermore, the motivation for choosing a specific investment opportunity is analyzed. In the conclusion there is a general recommendation based on the information obtained and calculations.Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit vliv různých demografických faktorů na výběr konkrétní investiční možnosti, které obyvatelé České republiky mají na zabezpečení svého důchodového věku. V rámci literární rešerše je zhodnocen demografický vývoj a s ním související neudržitelnost průběžného systému financování důchodů. Dále pak hlavní možnosti, které obyvatelé ČR mají pro tvorbu rezervy do svého důchodového věku. V aplikační části jsou pomocí kontingenčních tabulek, grafů a statistických metod korelace, regrese, analýza rozptylu a chí-kvadrát test zhodnoceny vlivy různých demografických faktorů na výši a způsob tvoření rezervy do svého důchodového věku. Dále je analyzována motivace pro výběr konkrétní investiční možnosti. Závěrem je pak na základě zjištěných informací a výpočtů obecné doporučení
