Employment of foreigners in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with the topic "Employment of foreigners in the Czech Republic". At present, this is a very current topic, especially concerning the situation on the labor market, when the demand for labor significantly exceeds the labor supply and at the same time unemployment is very low in the Czech Republic. One of the ways to get workers is to employ citizens of other countries who come to the Czech Republic for work. This thesis aims to analyze the legislation, but also the current situation, when there is a large number of myths and half-truths about foreigners. The thesis also deals with the analysis of the labor market and illegal or quasi-legal activities of workers from abroad and control by the state. Finally, the research is conducted through personal interviews, which aims to map the situation of foreigners who came to the Czech Republic and work there.Tato diplomová práce se věnuje tématu „Zaměstnávání cizinců v České republice“. V současné době je to velice aktuální téma, a to zejména s ohledem na situaci na trhu práce, kdy poptávka po pracovní síle významně převyšuje nabídku práce a zároveň je v ČR velice nízká nezaměstnanost. Jednou z možností, jak pracovníky sehnat, je právě zaměstnávání občanů jiných zemí, kteří do ČR přichází za prací. Cílem této práce je analýza právní úpravy, ale i současné situace, kdy ohledně cizinců panuje velké množství mýtů a polopravd. Dále se práce věnuje i analýze pracovního trhu a nelegálním nebo kvazi-legálním aktivitám pracovníků ze zahraničí a kontrole za stran státu. Na závěr je poté proveden výzkum prostřednictvím osobních rozhovorů, který má za cíl zmapovat situaci ze strany cizinců, kteří přišli do ČR a pracují zde
