Fundamental analysis of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the stock of JPMorgan Chase & Co. using the methods of fundamental analysis. The first chapter analyzes the company on the global level, especially measures the correlation coefficient between macroeconomic variables and the price of stock index. In the second chapter, I am comparing the bank with its competition that consists of other banks operating in the international environment. The last chapter, called firm analysis, looks for the intrinsic value of the stock using dividend discount, earnings and cash flow models. The conclusion of this thesis is to give the investment recommendation, whether to buy, sell, hold or not to buy the stock.V této bakalářské práci si kladu za cíl ocenit akcii společnosti JPMorgan Chase & Co. pomocí metod fundamentální analýzy. První kapitola analyzuje firmu na globální úrovni, zejména jaké jsou korelace mezi makroekonomickými veličinami a cenou akciového indexu. Ve druhé kapitole pomocí odvětvové analýzy zasadím banku do prostředí její konkurence v podobě ostatních bank působících v mezinárodním prostředí. Poslední kapitola věnující se firemní analýze hledá vnitřní hodnotu akcie pomocí dividendových diskontních, ziskových a cash flow modelů. Závěrem práce je doporučení pro investory, zda akcii koupit, prodat, držet nebo nekoupit
