Satisfying secured creditors under the Insolvency Act

The subject of this thesis is insolvency with the focus on the procedure of how to satisfy secured creditors during insolvency proceedings. The thesis aims to highlight the importance of securing the creditor's claim while determining how and to what extent secured creditors are satisfied in the various ways of resolving the debtor's bankruptcy. The work also describes insolvency legislation and explains the basic concepts associated with insolvency proceedings. Subsequently, part of the thesis is dedicated to filing claims, reviewing them, and securing them. The main topic is then description of different ways of satisfying secured creditors and elaborating on examples of ways of satisfaction from the real life.Tématem bakalářské práce je proces insolvence se zaměřením na uspokojování zajištěných věřitelů v průběhu insolvenčního řízení. Cílem práce je poukázat na důležitost zajištění pohledávky věřitele a zároveň stanovit, jak a do jaké míry jsou zajištění věřitelé uspokojeni v jednotlivých způsobech řešení úpadku dlužníka. V práci je popsána právní úprava insolvencí, jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy spojené s insolvenčním řízením. Následně se část práce věnuje přihláškám pohledávek, jejich přezkumu a zajištění. Hlavním obsahem je pak popsání způsobů uspokojení zajištěných věřitelů a zpracování příkladů uspokojení z praxe
