Testing of selected methods of technical analysis in foreign exchange markets

The main topic and goal of this bachelor thesis is to identify, describe and explain the testing of selected methods of technical analysis in the foreign exchange market. Furthermore, it is necessary to explain whether it is worth performing a technical analysis and whether, according to the technical analysis, developments in the foreign exchange market can be predicted. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part explains the elements of technical analysis and explains important information about the foreign exchange market. The second part describes the testing of selected methods of technical analysis. The last part comments on the results and answers important questions.Hlavním tématem a cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, popsat a vysvětlit testování vybraných metod technické analýzy na devízovém trhu. Dále je pak potřeba vysvětlit, jestli má cenu provádět technickou analýzu a jestli se podle technické analýzy dá předpovídat vývoj na devízovém trhu. Práce je rozdělená na tři hlavní části. První část vysvětluje prvky technické analýzy a vysvětluje důležité informace o devízovém trhu. Druhá část popisuje testování vybraných metod technické analýzy. Poslední část komentuje zjištěné výsledky a odpovídá na důležité otázky
