Accounting and financing of sports associations

The bachelor thesis is focused on accounting and financial specifics of sports associations in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis pursues the characteristics of non-governmental non-profit organizations, their legislation, financial resources and accounting. Furthermore, the legal form of the association and the structure of financing of sports associations are discussed. The practical part describes the Czech Table Tennis Association, financial analysis and analysis of financial statements for selected accounting periods. At the end of the practical part is an evaluation of the overall situation of the Czech Table Tennis Association.Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na účetnictví a finanční specifika sportovních svazů v České republice. Teoretická část práce se věnuje charakteristice nestátních neziskových organizací, jejich právní úpravě, finančním zdrojům a účetnictví. Dále je rozebrána právní forma spolku a struktura financování sportovních svazů. V praktické části je popsaná Česká asociace stolního tenisu, je provedena finanční analýza a analýza účetních výkazů za vybraná účetní období.
