Volunteering in sport events

This thesis addresses the ways of rewarding volunteers and their motivation at Olympic festivals. The aim of the work was to find out what are the possibilities of rewards for volunteers and what motivation individuals have to participate in the event. The evaluation took place on the basis of interviews with representatives of organizing committees and on the basis of the evaluation of the Olympic Volunteer Motivation Scale questionnaire which was filled in by 370 respondents. In the end, arguments are given when it is appropriate to use the given methods of remuneration.Tato závěrečná práce řeší způsoby odměňování dobrovolníků a jejich motivaci v rámci Olympijských festivalů. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaké jsou možnosti odměny pro dobrovolníky a jakou motivaci mají jedinci se akcí zúčastnit. Vyhodnocení probíhalo na základě rozhovorů se zástupci jednotlivých organizačních výborů a za pomoci vyhodnocení dotazníku Olympic Volunteer Motivation Scale u 370 respondentů.
