Budget control

This bachelor thesis considers the issue of budget control on the example of selected company providing services. It also describes the link between budgets and the compensation system for managers responsible for meeting the budget goals. The theoretical part presents the importance of plans and budgets in business management. The functions of budgets are emphasized here, especially planning and evaluation. The practical part consists of a description of budgeting, especially budget control and the system of managers´ compensation in the monitored company. Based on the comparison of theoretical and practical knowledge optimizations and possible improvements are proposed.Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou kontroly dodržování rozpočtů na příkladu podniku poskytujícího služby. Popisuje také propojení mezi rozpočty a systémem odměňování vedoucích zaměstnanců odpovědných za jejich dodržení. Teoretická část objasňuje význam plánů a rozpočtů v řízení podniku. Jsou zde zdůrazněny funkce rozpočtů, zejména plánovací a hodnotící. Praktická část se skládá z popisu tvorby a kontroly rozpočtů v daném podniku a dále z popisu systému odměňování manažerů. Na základě srovnání teoretických a praktických poznatků jsou v závěru navrženy optimalizace a možná zlepšení v těchto oblastech
