Training and Development of Employees in the Organization

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of training and development of employees in a specific organization. The aim of the thesis is to assess the existing system and identify its weaknesses and strengths. A sub-objective of the thesis is to present the theoretical background related to the issue. The contribution of the thesis lies in the proposal of recommendations for making the system more effective. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the description of the theory of the system of training and development of employees and its systematic setting. The second part of the thesis contains an introduction of the selected company and a description of the current system of employee training and development. This description is based on the analysis of internal documentation and semi-structured interviews conducted with employee representatives. These interviews provided, among other things, information on how the system is perceived by the company's employees and the role of line managers in it.Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice vzdělávání a rozvoje zaměstnanců v konkrétní organizaci. Cílem práce je posouzení stávajícího systému a identifikace jeho slabých a silných stránek. Dílčím cílem práce je představení teoretických východisek, která s danou problematikou souvisí. Přínos práce spočívá v návrhu doporučení pro zefektivnění tohoto systému. První část práce je věnována popisu teorie systému vzdělávání a rozvoje zaměstnanců a jeho systematickému nastavení. Druhá část práce obsahuje představení vybrané společnosti a deskripci současného systému vzdělávání a rozvoje zaměstnanců. Tato deskripce vznikla na základě analýzy interní dokumentace a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, které byly provedeny se zástupci zaměstnanců. Tyto rozhovory poskytly, mimo jiné, informace o tom, jak systém vnímají zaměstnanci společnosti a jaká je v něm role liniových manažerů
