Neotropical brown stink bugs, Euschistus heros, 1s the most present pest in Brazilian soybean crop fields. Chemical pesticides are used to reduce this pest on soybean crops such as neonicotinoids. However, some studies reported that, under controlled conditions, these stink bugs demonstrated higher reproduction when exposed to sublethal doses of imidacloprid (neonicotinoid). Thus, the soybean seeds physiological may decrease with these higher E. heros population. Though, plant defence sytem can be induced by herbivores to defend themselves against this pest.
