Combining differential scanning calorimetry, nuclear magnetic resonance, and broadband dielectric spectroscopy studies, we ascertain the glass transition of aqueous ethylene glycol (EG) solutions, in particular the effects of partial crystallization on their glassy slowdown. For the completely liquid solutions in the weakly supercooled regime, it is found that the dynamics of the components occur on very similar time scales, rotational and translational motions are coupled, and the structural (α) relaxation monotonously slows down with increasing EG concentration.
