During immune response such as thymic selection, contacts between cells were a major event dependent of synapse formation. Recently, molecules from neurological or neuro-muscular synapses were described to be express in immune cells and implicate in the regulation of contacts. We have investigated the pattern expression of neurological receptors on immune cells. Neuropilin-1 (Np-1), implicated in the growth cone collapse formation and regulation, was expressed in both dendritic cells (DC) and T cells. Similarly, Semaphorin-3A (Sema-3A), its natural ligand, was express and produces by immune cells.
