Il progetto sionista d’insediamento coloniale in Palestina. Il contributo degli studi di settler colonialism

This article is aimed to explain the real meaning of the Zionist project of a Jewish settlement in Palestine since the origin at the end of the 19th-century with Th. Herzl, and at the beginning of the 20th-century. The aim of the project was to settle there permanently the Jewish people coming from Europe, pushing the native population by all means “out of border”, and declare themselves as the sole natives. Unlike the apartheid that is achieved with a separation between natives and colonists, to which many proPalestinian activists relate, the settler colonialism organize itself through a progressive dispossession of land, resources and rights of [as regards] the native people. The scholars of settler colonialism, with their researches at the end of the 20th-century, claim that the “logic of elimination prevails on the logic of exploitation” and again “Settler colonialism is a structure not an event”. The article goes on with the analysis of settler colonial studies, also with the research of some Israeli scholars as Gershon Shafir, and put some other questions: How can we get to a decolonization in the present stage of neoliberalism?Obiettivo di questo articolo è spiegare il progetto del movimento sionista sin dalle origini, con Th. Herzl e poi agli inizi del 20° secolo, per l’emigrazione in Palestina di popolazione ebraica europea, il suo insediamento stabile in quei territori, spingendo la popolazione nativa, con ogni mezzo, “al di là dei confini”, per poter essere dichiarati come unici nativi. Il colonialismo d’insediamento non si struttura come l’apartheid, come sola separazione fra coloni e nativi, ma tramite una progressiva spoliazione di terra e diritti. Gli studiosi di settler colonialism, disciplina sviluppatasi a fine ‘900, affermano che la “logica dell’eliminazione prevale su quella dello sfruttamento” e che “il settler colonialism è una struttura non un evento”. L’articolo procede con l’analisi degli studi di S. C. compiuti anche da studiosi israeliani come Gershon Shafir, per porsi anche altre domande: come si può arrivare ad una decolonizzazione, nella fase odierna di neoliberismo
