FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI SOLVABILITAS PADA PERUSAHAAN ASURANSI DI INDONESIA PERIODE 2015–2019

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh antara Ukuran Perusahaan, Rasio Hasil Investasi, Rasio Retensi Sendiri dan Hasil Underwriting terhadap Solvabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan populasi 74 perusahaan asuransi yang terdaftar dalam Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) selama tahun 2015–2019. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling yang menghasilkan 52 perusahaan asuransi. Dengan demikian total observasi penelitian berjumlah 260 selama 5 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan dibantu program Eviews 11. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rasio retensi sendiri dan hasil underwriting berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap solvabilitas. Sedangkan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap solvabilitas. Sementara itu, rasio hasil investasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap solvabilitas perusahaan asuransi. This study aims to determine the effect of Firm Size, Investment Return Ratio, Self Retention Ratio and Underwriting Results on Solvency. This study uses secondary data with a population of 74 insurance companies registered with the Financial Service Authority (OJK) during 2015–2019. The Sample selection was done by purposive sampling technique which resulted in 52 insurance companies. Thus the total research observations amounted to 260 for 5 years. This study uses panel data regression analysis with the help of the Eviews 11 program. The result of this study indicate that the Self Retention Ratio and Underwriting Results has a positive and significant effect on solvency. While the Firm Size has a negative and significant effect on solvency. Meanwhile, the Investment Return Ratio has no effect on the solvency of insurance companies.
