O contexto da Educação Ambiental como proposta político pedagógica no Ensino Fundamental II em Humaitá-AM

Environmental education can be understood as a means of understanding social behaviors aimed at the environment and serving in the planning of public policies and educational actions that raise awareness and awaken environmentally responsible attitudes in society. In this way, the present work aims to describe the political-pedagogical contributions present in the legal documents and conception of the managers in relation to the theme of Environmental Education in state schools of Elementary Education II in Humaitá-AM. The methodology is based on qualitative research. The data were collected from the documental analysis of the Referencial Curricular Amazonense (RCA) and the Political Pedagogical Projects (PPP) on the approach to the theme of Environmental Education; and it also has, as a research instrument, the questionnaire with open and closed questions applied to the managers of the selected schools in order to understand their conceptions on the subject. As a result, it is observed that documents such as RCA and PPP that guide the curriculum of Amazonian schools are little concerned with the development of activities related to the theme of EE, which reflects on managers and their knowledge in relation to the theme, because despite knowing the subject, their conceptions of EA are still in line with proposals considered outdated, which contrasts with a state that is almost entirely covered by the largest forest on the planet.A educação ambiental (EA) pode ser entendida como meio de compreensão de comportamentos sociais voltados ao ambiente e servir no ordenamento de políticas públicas e ações educacionais que sensibilizem e despertem posturas ambientalmente responsáveis da sociedade. Desta forma, o presente trabalho, tem por objetivo descrever as contribuições político-pedagógicas presentes nos documentos legais e concepção dos gestores em relação a temática da Educação Ambiental nas escolas estaduais de Ensino Fundamental II em Humaitá-AM. A metodologia está baseada em uma pesquisa qualitativa. Os dados foram coletados a partir da análise documental do Referencial Curricular Amazonense (RCA) e do Projetos Político Pedagógico (PPP) sobre a abordagem da temática da Educação Ambiental; e possui ainda, como instrumento de pesquisa o questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas aplicado aos gestores das escolas selecionadas a fim de compreender por parte destes suas concepções em relação ao tema. Como resultado observa-se que os documentos como RCA e PPP que norteiam o currículo das escolas amazonenses, preocupam-se pouco com o desenvolvimento de atividades relacionadas a temática da EA, o que reflete sobre os gestores e o conhecimento destes em relação ao tema, pois apesar de conhecerem o tema, suas concepções de EA estão alinhadas ainda a propostas consideradas antigas, o que contrasta com um estado que é quase que inteiramente coberto pela maior floresta do planetam3Simplataforma detalha pouco o que deve ser inserido em cada camp
