The university extension in teacher formation of IEAA pedagogy course: a look at the student experiences in literature projects

This Course Conclusion Work is part of the theme of teacher training and university extension as a contribution to formative experiences in the university / community relationship. Thus, its main objective was to show how the extension projects aimed at children's and juvenile literature contributed to the formation of students included in these projects in the context of Humaitá/AM. This is a documentary research of a descriptive character in which we sought to show how students perceive their insertions in the Extension Curriculum Activities Projects (PACE) from their written reports linked to the final report of each project. For the proper theoretical foundations, support was sought from authors who discuss teacher training, as well as training based on the relationship between theory and practice. The results show that the PACEs aroused in academics the idea that the literate subject is the one capable of developing their knowledge based on their reading of the world and that extension actions as they participated can expand this repertoire of readings. They also point out that, through their participation in PACEs, students realized the importance of participating in extension activities aimed at the theory/practice relationship in teacher education. The advance in students' knowledge regarding reading was a visible point in their reports.O presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso se insere na temática formação docente e extensão universitária como contribuição para as experiências formativas na relação universidade/comunidade. Assim, seu objetivo central foi mostrar como os projetos de extensão voltados para literatura infantil e infanto juvenil contribuíram para a formação dos discentes incluídos nestes projetos no contexto de Humaitá/AM. Trata-se uma pesquisa documental de caráter descritiva na qual buscou-se mostrar como os discentes percebem suas inserções nos Projetos de Atividades Curriculares de Extensão (PACE) a partir de seus relatos escritos vinculados ao relatório final de cada projeto. Para os devidos embasamentos teóricos, buscou-se apoio em autores que discorrem sobre a formação docente, bem como sobre a formação a partir da relação teoria e prática. Os resultados mostram que os PACEs despertaram nos acadêmicos a ideia de que o sujeito letrado é aquele capaz de desenvolver seu conhecimento partindo de sua leitura de mundo e, que as ações extensionistas como as participaram podem ampliar esse repertório de leituras. Também apontam que, mediante suas participações nos PACEs, os discentes perceberam a importância em participar das atividades extensionista que visem à relação teoria/prática na formação docente.
