COSEE GL presents a one-week cruise on Lake Erie aboard the R/V Lake Guardian specifically for grade 4-10 teachers and informal educators. The cruise will feature interdisciplinary learning opportunities for Great Lakes and ocean systems research. Instructors include both research scientists and COSEE educators. Topics of study include shipping activities and cargo, field station research, urban shorelines, coastal processes and erosion, DO, conductivity, temperature, plankton and more.
