Port Townsend Marine Science Center offers a week-long course on marine ecology and conservation. Instruction takes place on the beach, in the lab and on board the Adventuress Schooner on the Olympic Peninsula, Washington. Teachers take home standards based-activities for K-12 classrooms on marine biology, physical oceanography, basic navigation, tide & currents, marine mammals and sand studies. Credits available, fees apply. Educational levels: Primary elementary, Intermediate elementary, Middle school, High school
