This is the expedition page of the University of Delaware, Graduate College of Marine Studies. The site highlights discoveries made on past missions. The Extreme 2000 expedition went to the Sea of Cortez, while the last three Extremes have been to a location in the Pacific Ocean west of Central America. The Black Sea Journey covered most of the Black Sea while the Canadian Archipelago Throughflow Study was in Baffin Bay and the Nares Strait. Students are invited to learn more about hightech tools, ocean life, sea floor geology, and the mission and crew. Educational levels: High school, Middle school
