Cette thèse porte sur l'étude des mécanismes de désexcitation des bases de l'ADN protonées et hydratées à la suite de l'absorption d'un photon UV. Le premier objectif porte sur la caractérisation des processus de relaxation en contrôlant l'énergie d'excitation déposée dans la molécule. Des expériences de spectroscopie de photodissociation et de pompe-sonde multi-échelle ont été réalisées dans un piège de Paul refroidie à 10 K. Nous avons pu montrer le rôle des états à longue durée de vie tels que des états à transfert de charge et des états triplets dans le processus de relaxation.
