L’objectif poursuivi dans cette recherche est de construire des connaissances spécifiques sur les besoins des élèves ayant un trouble de la fonction visuelle en matière d’accessibilité des manuels scolaires numériques et les solutions possibles pour y répondre. Il s’agit plus précisément d’étudier les caractéristiques spécifiques des modalités d’accès aux manuels scolaires numériques et multimédias par ces élèves et leurs conséquences sur les exigences cognitives associées à leur traitement pour concevoir et évaluer des principes de conception.Plusieurs études complémentaires ont été réalisées pour analyser les besoins des élèves présentant un trouble de la fonction visuelle en matière d’accessibilité pédagogique numérique.
