Florida Everglades belongs to a series of online modules entitled Exploring the Environment. Emphasizing an integrated approach to environmental earth science through problem-based learning, this module asks students to predict the future of the Florida Panther based on their Earth system science analysis of the restoration of water to the Everglades. Five links assist students in their analysis. The situation link provides students with their assignment. The remaining four links (Remote Sensing, Everglades, Wetlands, and Florida Panther) serve as research tools, providing current and historical data on the Everglades and its land use, waterflow, and habitat.
