Quantification de l'impact d'un lixiviat synthtéique sur la strcturation de bentonites utilisées dans des GSB par l'intermédiaire d'essais rhéométriques

The low hydraulic conductivity of the GCL arises from the structuration of the clay inside the bentonite. The contact between clay and aggressive fluids like leachate may alter the structuration of the clay and thus result in an increase of the hydraulic conductivity of the GCL. Many authors investigated rheometrical tests to study the impact of aggressive fluids on the structuration ability of the bentonite in dispersion. The flow curves allowed characterizing the flow properties of the dispersion like their viscosity and their yield stress. This paper presents the results of a project aiming at: (1) differentiating the sodium bentonite by using flow curves; and (2) linking the permittivity increase of bentonite dispersions with their rheological behaviour
