International audienceThe two authors of this article take a look on Education Sciences from their singular experience. Unlike the epistemologist or the historian who make this research topic their own, the authors decide to accept the double singularity of this disciplinary story to assert the need to appropriate the history of this well-documented field. More precisely, this article focuses on four main steps: the rise of the subversive discipline in 1967 in Caen; its enthusiasm 25 years later in Bordeaux; its reflective skills after 40 years; and, lastly, the issues that appeared 50 years later concerning the political and scientific status of “Training and Education Sciences” – as its name just changed.Cet article pose un regard sur les...
