Background: Chronic low back pain was in 2015 the eighth reason for consultation with the general practitioner. However, research suggests that 16 to 55% of these patients possibly have a neuropathic component. The objective is to evaluate the drug management of chronic neuropathic low back pain by general practitioners. Methods: In this quantitative study, a survey was sent to one hundred general practitioners of Seine-et-Marne chosen at random. The primary endpoint was based on five prescription rules issued by the French Society for the Study and Treatment of Pain, giving a score out of five points.
