Éthique en établissement de santé : architecture et typologie hospitalière face à l’émergence des infections nosocomiales

This work proposes to think about the hospital of tomorrow by examining the evolution of hospital architecture in line with medical progress, particularly in terms of nosocomial infections. Indeed, nosocomial infections constitute and shape hospital spaces. Therefore, giving meaning to architecture allows us to glimpse this intimate link that unites them and to find, through architectural ethics, answers to the problems posed by nosocomial infections. These functional and ethical questions upset our perceptions of the medical and hospital world, since they question its limits and constraints. Faced with the emergence of this public health problem and the appearance of antibiotic resistance, hospital architecture participates in a multidisciplinary approach and offers new perspectives for action, which allow the hospital system to question itself in order to continue to evolve.Ce travail se propose de penser l’hôpital de demain en s’interrogeant sur l’évolution de l’architecture hospitalière au rythme des progrès de la médecine et particulièrement en matière d’infections nosocomiales. En effet, les infections nosocomiales constituent et modèlent les espaces hospitaliers. Aussi donner du sens à l’architecture permet d’entrevoir cet intime lien qui les unit et de trouver par l’éthique architecturale, les réponses aux problématiques que posent les infections nosocomiales. Ces questions fonctionnelles et éthiques bouleversent nos perceptions du monde médical et hospitalier, puisqu’elles questionnent ses limites et contraintes. Face à l’émergence de ce problème de santé publique et à l’apparition de résistances aux antibiotiques, l’architecture hospitalière participe à une démarche pluridisciplinaire et offre de nouvelles perspectives d’action, qui permettent au système hospitalier de se remettre en question pour continuer d’évoluer
