The essence of this internet-based project is that participants make and exchange weather observations once a day for two weeks and, with the help and guidance of meteorological professionals, analyze and interpret the observations. They record details such as cloud cover, pressure, rainfall, relative humidity, temperature, wind speed, wind direction, and a general description of the weather. Around 80 primary and secondary schools from 27 countries have already registered to be part of MetLink and will be taking part from a range of locations including the UK, America, Ethiopia, India, Japan and Romania.
