Urban Ecologist Activity Book

This book features hands-on activities, designed for younger students, which are based on the work of Carmen Cid, an ecologist who studies urban wetlands and how to keep them healthy. Each activity includes one 30- to 45-minute project and extensions. Topics include Ms. Cid's career, an investigation into the health of an ecosystem, investigating the traveling strategies of seeds, exploring the effects of water pollution on waterbugs, and building a model watershed.
