PENGARUH PENGETAHUAN KEUANGAN, PENGALAMAN KEUANGAN, DAN LOCUS OF CONTROL TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN FINANSIAL

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of financial knowledge, financial experience, and locus of control on financial well-being. This research methodology uses survey research through online questionnaires. This research methodology uses 343 respondents who were collected through an online questionnaire. The respondents of this study are domiciled in Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Gresik. Respondents' responses were analyzed using descriptive analysis through the SPSS 25.0 program and inferential analysis through SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study show that financial experience and locus of control have a positive effect on financial well-being, while financial knowledge has no effect on financial well-being. The practical implication of this research is to improve financial well-being, especially for workers that increasing financial experience accompanied by good locus of control is important in achieving financial well-being.
