Carbon dioxide can be utilized as a feedstock to produce chemicals and renewable fuels sustainably. CO2 hydrogenation to hydrocarbons through a methanol mediated pathway requires a more detailed study, examining interactions between reaction processes leading to different product selectivities. In this particular work, we propose a kinetic model for the direct CO2 hydrogenation to different hydrocarbon products over an In2O3/HZSM-5 bifunctional catalytic bed.
