This article aims at discussing premises, objectives, and results of the program of online teaching offered by the Faculty of «Communication and Media» of the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries (DUSIC) of Parma University because of the sudden outbreak of Covid-19. Major points of the discussion are: • how to «design» an online teaching effectively; • how to project the «structure of learning» of the course; • how to plan students’ assignments during the period of lessons; • how to evaluate and grade the work of students. Conclusions outline some positive outputs of this experience that, despite the end of the period of emergency, will be maintained in the future to improve the quality of the teachings of...
