Four troglobitic shrimps are reported to frequent the subterranean waters of the Yucatan Peninsula. Three are members of the family Atyidae: Typhlatya mitchelli, new species, and Typhlatya campecheae,new species, are described herein, and Typhlatya pearsei Creaser is redescribed. The fourth shrimp, Creaseria morleyi (Creaser), is a member of the family Palaemonidae. Illustrations as well as all known locality records are included for the four, and a key to all of the members of the genus Typhlatya is followed by a discussion of their interrelationships.
