The professor of higher education in health must be concerned with training a student capable of making critical-reflective judgment about all the determinants that act in the health-disease process. In the practical field, the Nursing professor must be aware of the theoretical and practical limitations of their students, observing all aspects of the learning field, including the diversities in the relationship between theory and practice, the patient and the needs of their profession. Only the nursing graduation, in the baccalaureate modality, does not guarantee the full qualification of the teaching professional regarding the pedagogical approaches to teaching, making internship supervision a great challenge.
