The most recent studies on Templar Order offer several new approaches to this topic. In the past, scholars like Macolm Barber or Alain Demurger provided solid descriptions of the Order and it’s structures, followed by numerous studies on precise and concrete aspects of Templars history, such as the Rule, the economy and the hierarchy of the Order, or the history of it’s commanderies in the East and in the West. In the same time, the topic of the Trial of the Templars has been several times revisited, not always from the same point of view. This chapter aims to take a look on the most recent studies, from the year 2000 until today and to observe the proceedings and results of the research
