Provisional and Protective Measures

Provisional, including protective, measures are often of crucial importance in family cases and cross-border situations are no exception. Under the Brussels II bis Regulation, a Member State court may use one of the two possibilities to grant such measure. these are detailed in the chapter which focuses on Article 20 of the Regulation and its interpretation by the CJEU and national courts
