The most universal method of measuring machine parts is optical scanning by specialized optical systems. The scanning results are presented as a 3D model of the scanned part based on clouds of obtained points on the real surface of the part elements. As a rule, the model is directly compared with the nominal model of the part by building color maps of deviations of the actual surfaces of the parts from the nominal ones. However, a direct comparison is not effective in the case of a decision of a task of finding explicit indicators of the accuracy of the details.
