The article describes the accentual classes of the Lithuanian noun and adjective on the material of the “Frequency morphemic dictionary of the Lithuanian language”: the basic properties of the Lithuanian stress, the patterns of stress shift and the properties of the classes. Homonymous and potentially homographic endings are considered in detail; their grammatical and accentual properties, as well as statistical data, are discussed
