This paper presents a new approach according to which the issue of socio-economic inequality is addressed not by applying social or fiscal policy measures, but by strengthening societal psychological resilience: by shaping a society characterized by a high level of social culture and education, by fostering a society in which individuals are resistant to life difficulties. In this paper, we pursue the aim of demonstrating the socio-economic vulnerability factors, the importance of strengthening resilience and reduction of socio-economic inequality, by analyzing data of a survey which was conducted in 2016 (representative sample, n=1001).
