Zika vírus, microcefalia e maternidade: as experiências de mulheres no semiárido de Sergipe

This study sought to understand the daily lives of women affected by the Zika Virus in the Semi-arid Sergipe, in the municipalities of Nossa Senhora da Glória and Poço Redondo. Indepth interviews were conducted with nine women in the profile indicated above, interviews with professionals who provide care in the municipalities. Visits were made to the field, where I talked and interviewed health professionals and women, who are interlocutors of this research. The emergence of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 led to the need to adopt a perspective of digital anthropology, conducting conversations and interviews through applications. The methodology used was fieldwork, through participant observation, followed by interviews and analyses of the results obtained that were exposed in the writing of this work. During the work, the narratives are discussed using theoretical frameworks, as well as discuss the representations found in the field. The research was developed from a historical perspective and considering the social contradictions to point out the processes of social exclusion, exploitation and domination of the black population, seeking to articulate social, racial and gender inequality in the health-disease process. It is also noteworthy the feminist production of knowledge about gender relations and the denaturalisation of the inferiority of women, in addition to explaining advances and tensions between theoretical perspectives. In this context, the theory of intersectionality is presented as a theoretical and methodological framework with more possibilities of making approaches to the life experience of women.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESA presente dissertação buscou compreender o dia a dia de Mulheres acometidas por Zika Vírus no Semiárido Sergipano, nos Municípios de Nossa Senhora da Glória e Poço Redondo, entre o período de 2019-2021. A metodologia utilizada se deu em diferentes momentos: o primeiro foi o levantamento bibliográfico acerca dos conceitos de gênero, saúde, relações raciais epidemia. No segundo momento realizei o trabalho de campo, por meio da observação participante, seguida de entrevistas realizadas em profundidade com nove mulheres do perfil acima indicado, além de entrevistas com profissionais que realizam atendimentos nos municípios. Diante do surgimento da pandemia em decorrência do COVID-19 foi necessário adotar uma perspectiva de coleta de dados no ciberespaço, conseguindo estabelecer diálogos contínuo através de aplicativos. Assim como discorro sobre as representações encontradas em campo. Além disso, a pesquisa desenvolveu-se a partir de uma perspectiva histórica, ao considerar as contradições sociais para apontar os processos de exclusão social, exploração e dominação da população negra, buscando articular desigualdade sociais, raciais e de gênero no processo saúde-doença. Destaca-se também a produção feminista de conhecimento sobre as relações de gênero e a desnaturalização da inferioridade das mulheres, além de explicitar avanços e tensões entre perspectivas teóricas. Nesse contexto, a teoria da interseccionalidade se apresenta como ponto marcante para as possibilidades de aproximações das experiências de vida das mulheres em situação de risco no semiárido sergipano.São Cristóvã
