Faced with the documented social and environmental crisis and after 40 years of the Tbilisi Conference, seen as one of the main events on Environmental Education this article aims to discuss the understanding and teaching practices of chemistry teachers who teach in initial and postgraduate training courses of a federal public institution of education.
