A importancia da pesquisa na formação do/a Assistente Social

This paper deals with the importance of research in the training of the Social Worker. Theresearch problem consists of verifying the role of the research in the formation of the SocialWorker, in view of the theoretical framework of the area. The rationale is that there arestrong, often methodological, strengths in practice-based research. The research will have as descriptors "social worker training", "social service" and "research". The objective is to evaluate the importance of research in the training of the Social Worker. The main focus is on the importance of research in professional practice, and it is imperative that the social worker seeks constant updating, in a continuous construction of knowledge. Considering that social relations are complex and the society is dynamic, it is imperative that the professionals have a research position, critical, built and grounded in theoretical bases, the result of the incessant search for knowledge. It was also highlighted the relevance of the articulation between theory and practice, and Social Service can not restrict itself to information accumulation, but rather to associate information and practice, in order to obtain efficient professional responses. Another important aspect discussed refers to the undergraduate courses, that is, the professional academic formation, as well as the post-graduation, as instruments of production of knowledge, besides the advance of the scientific productions that so much contribute for the improvement of the Social Service. The present study results from a comprehensive bibliographical research, highlighting renowned authors, who are directly responsible for the accomplishments of the social worker. Finally, we will present a comparative table with the analysis of the TCCs made by UFS students from 2011 to 2015 to provide guidance on the most recurrent subjects studied in our area.O presente trabalho trata sobre a importância da pesquisa na formação do Assistente Social. O problema da pesquisa consiste em verificar o papel da pesquisa na formação do/a Assistente Social, tendo em vista o marco teórico da área. A justificativa prende-se no fato de que existem pontos fortes, muitas vezes metodológicos na pesquisa baseada na prática. A pesquisa terá como descritores “formação do assistente social”, “serviço social” e “pesquisa”. O objetivo é de avaliar a importância da pesquisa na formação do/a Assistente Social. O enfoque principal volta-se para a importância da pesquisa na atuação profissional, sendo imperioso que o/a assistente social busque atualização constante, numa construção contínua de conhecimento. Considerando que as relações sociais são complexas e a sociedade dinâmica, é imprescindível que haja por parte dos/as profissionais um posicionamento investigativo, crítico, construído e fundamentado em bases teóricas, fruto da busca incessante por conhecimentos. Destacou-se também neste trabalho a relevância da articulação entre teoria e prática, não podendo o Serviço Social restringir-se apenas ao acúmulo de informações, mas sim associar informação e prática, para assim obter respostas profissionais eficientes. Outro aspecto importante discutido refere-se aos cursos de graduação, ou seja, a formação acadêmica profissional, bem como a pós-graduação, como instrumentos de produção de conhecimento, além do avanço das produções científicas que tanto contribuem para o aprimoramento do Serviço Social. O presente estudo resulta de pesquisa bibliográfica abrangente, destacando renomados/as autores/as, que são responsáveis diretos pelas conquistas do/a assistente social.
